Treat your metal home decor with royal careāwipe it regularly after each use. Avoid fancy cleaners; instead, gently wipe it with a cotton cloth to remove ash/soot after the pit cools down. Make sure to not use water to extinguish the fire, you donāt want the dust to get stuck to the paint!
Coat Check
Metalit's metal home decor items come with protective coatings, unlike the products we get in the market. Havan kunds and fire pits which we often get in the market are made of thin metal sheets, which are prone to warping on multiple uses. Some may even exude harmful fumes due to improper coating, posing a fire hazard. These products lack proper ventilation cut-work. On the other hand, Metalit products with their superior ventilation cut-work, are more durable and reliable compared to other options in the market.
Protect from Rain and Water

When handling your Metalit home decor products, be mindful to avoid scratching or denting them. Our firepits are heavy-duty and will be a two-person job to lift and carry. Other products are fairly lightweight but it's always recommended to transport the bigger products with someone accompanying you.
Avoid touching the firepit while it's on as it will be hot. There are times when it gets hard to structure the wooden logs for an efficient burn. Consider buying a fire pit grate for enhanced airflow and stability, and a wooden log holder to keep all the wooden logs organized.
